Johna Register-Mihalik, PhD, LAT, ATC, FACSM

Johna Register-Mihalik, PhD, LAT, ATC, FACSM, is an associate professor in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science, co-director of the STAR Heel Performance Laboratory, and core faculty in the Injury Prevention Research Center and Matthew Gfeller Center at UNC-Chapel Hill. Dr. Register-Mihalik is a co-investigator on the firefighter fall prevention research project, where she supports organizational and behavioral assessment methods concerning the project. She has over 15 years of experience researching cultural and behavioral aspects of sport and recreation concerning injury prevention and management.
