Jules Payne, PhD

Jules Payne, PhD, is a sociologist at RTI International who is interested in creating employment experiences that are rewarding, safe, and sustaining. As the Evaluation Lead in the Planning and Evaluation Core, Dr. Payne is responsible for assessing the impact of Carolina Center activities on workers and workplaces and identifying opportunities to improve Carolina Center’s strategy and support. Her other research relates to workforce development and worker health and safety on behalf of clients, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and philanthropic organizations.
