Program
We offer a 9-credit, 3-course graduate certificate program focused on work as a social determinant of health; workplace measurement strategies; and planning, implementing and evaluating Total Worker Health (“TWH”) interventions. The culminating experience involves working with local employers to recommend practical improvements for worker safety, health and well-being. Students in the graduate certificate program come from a variety of disciplines across the UNC-Chapel Hill campus, as well as neighboring universities Duke and NC State. This program is open to graduate students and working professionals seeking continuing education.
